Our team regularly competes in events and major competitions across the world, ranging from the 30lb class to the 250lb class, taking on machines that could level a building with ease!

Amnesia 30lb/13.6kg - featherweight Class

Amnesia is the longest running robot in our fleet, and one of the most successful in the UK! Amnesia started life in 2016 as a mere wedge bot built for a bit of fun. But after coming 4th in it's debut at the FRA World Championships, "a bit of fun" soon took a serious turn with the addition of an electric front hinge flipper and a mixed assortment of materials for its construction and defence. In 2018, Amnesia won it's first title, winning King Of Bots UK and the FRA World Championship. Since then, it has brought home quite a number of championship trophies!

Kakute 30lb/13.6kg - featherweight Class

Weapon: Horizontal undercutting disc

Ed's first featherweight is a unique combination of tank tracks and an undercutting disc, stemming for his love of the Centurion tank. Kakute was the first European featherweight to use 3D printing in its structure, with the tank pods being entirely printed from Onyx. It has only taken part in one event to date but made a devistating first impression, pushing its way through the opposition and tearing them up with ease, finishing in the top 4. A new Kakute is currently in the works, but has been delayed by Ed's duties at FightFest.

Euphoria 30lb/13.6kg - featherweight Class

Weapon: Electric Lifter / Grabber

The team's resident YouTuber, TaleOfTheToaster's personal machine. Named after a Eurovision song by Loreen, and inspired by an odd combination of Atomic from Robot Wars and Bombshell from BattleBots. Euphoria was built at the start of 2020 and quickly took its first title, becoming the UK Sportsman champion that year. It has became one of the most feared machines in Europe, regularly seen on the podium and award ceremonies at FightFest and RoboDojo and most recently becoming the Irish Featherweight champion.

Prismatic 30lb/13.6kg - featherweight Class

Driver: Brooke Reay
Weapon: Horizontal 'midcutter' spinner

The latest addition to the team, Prismatic was inspired by Brooke's successful 4th place run with Team ARDesign's undercutter, Telekinesis in FightFest 2023. Prismatic keeps low cost and maintainence in mind with nearly everything being lasercut Hardox, Raex and 6082 aluminium. Whilst also serving as a test bed trialing AM32 drive, TPU armour, cogged V belts and Brazil wheels.
P.s - Prismatic was very nearly a 20.4kg shuffler, and who knows, it might yet become one some day!

Immersion 250lb/110kg heavyweight Class

Our teams namesake and flagship robot, Immersion is a scaled up version of Amnesia. It features bespoke EDM planetary gearboxes & spur reduction with 32hp of brushless motors behind the drive and weapon, packing plenty of power into a small package. Combined with 10mm thick Hardox and billet HDPE armour surrounding a thick aluminium chassis, Immersion is designed to handle the biggest hitters in the field. Immersion doesn't see as much use as it's smaller counterpart, but it is the 2 time and reigning Irish champion!

Ember 250lb/110kg heavyweight Class

Weapon: Electric front hinged lifter / Electric Hammer (Coming Soon!)

Initially designed for King Of Bots and BattleBots under the name, 'Abrasion' before Covid, and built under Ed's care as Immersion's sister machine and the sequel to 'Bonfire'. Despite being of a similar design, Ember is quite different internally, featuring 27hp of brushless motors behind the drive and weapon with NEMA & Cycloidal gearing. Combined with 15mm thick Hardox and billet HDPE armour surrounding a thick aluminium chassis, it's like a small tank! Ember is the fastest robot in the fleet, with a top speed of 24mph!
